What does threatened and endangered mean?

Threatened: Someone or something to be vulnerable or at risk; endanger.

Endangered: (of a species) seriously at risk of extinction,

How is this different from extinct?

In the process of being extinct, extinct means that that whole species is gone but endanger is only partial.

How do we protect biodiversity? Name and explain all the strategies.

Purchase goods and services from companies that are environmentally responsible. Plant a garden of native plants around your home, or at your school. In this way you can help to preserve plant species as well as create habitat for wildlife. Also try an minimize your use or conumption of harmful chemicals.
